Vice Minister of China MOST Mr. Liu Yanhua Visited CIPUK

Vice Minister of China Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) Mr. Liu Yanhua, accompanied by Director General of Torch High-Tech Industry Development Centre of the MOST Mr. Zhao Yuhai, Minister Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in the UK Mr. Wang Baoqing, Vice Director General of Guangzhou Science & Technology Bureau Mr. Gong Hongwu, Executive Manager in Chief of Guangzhou International Business Incubator limited Mr. Wu Yuling, visited China-UK Innovation Park (CIPUK) in Cambridge on 10th November 2003. Chief Executive of Invest East of England Mr. James Gray and other officials also presented.

Dr. Keming Zhou, Managing Director of CIPUK gave a presentation to Mr. Liu and others, reported the development progress of CIPUK since two countries agreed to jointly support and promote CIPUK in October 2002. Mr. Liu Yanhua highly praised the development progress of CIUK achieved during the short period, and made important suggestions to CIPUK future business plan.

Dr. Zhou expressed gratitude to the great support from the MOST and other organizations on behalf of the company, he said CIPUK would continue making every efforts to provide high quality professional incubation, consulting and agency services to Chinese enterprises intending to do business in the UK, and will meanwhile promote business cooperation between UK and China by assisting British companies doing business with China.
